Players like Bale need space to run into- how many times have you seen Bale out of the game because teams cut off the space by putting ten men behind the ball?
In La Liga, the build-up play is more thought-out and not as quick- so he won't have the massive gaps to run into:

That's a great goal, but would he have had such space to do that in La Liga?
The problem you have defending against him though, even if you are closing off the space, is that he has a great shot:
Southampton and West Ham were both drawing with Spurs and had sat back a bit for a point- but Bale had the ability to get the long-shot past them.
I don't think he can make up for the lack of goals because of La Liga's lack of space purely by long-shots to justify such a price-tag, and I can't see him working with Ronaldo.
Why would Madrid get rid of Ronaldo to make space for Bale? Makes absolutely no sense!
I think so too...
Bale is not on the same level as Ronaldo.
It would be an outrageously stupid thing to do.
I rate Bale very highly but the figures being talked about are crazy! Ronaldo is a completely different level of player.
93mil pounds + Coentrao for Bale, nice one Perez

It was a pleasure to watch Barcelona play the other night.
Busquets, Xavi and Fabregas is a dream midfield.

saint is happy because AU missed out iniesta
Wuold be great if La Real can grab a third now they've got a man advantage, that would deffo put it out of reach for Lyon.
Actually, Lyon are probably another reason Saint's a happy bunny right now.
