Sounds like harsh times mate Good luck on your job hunting adventures. Why did you give up your practice in the first place?
Thanks CC.
Slough, Reading, Berkshire.
BTW I did see ioag's question and it made me wonder too. How is your friends venture a business? It sounds more like a NGO than a business tbh.
I knew we'd get Olympiacos.
ioag, I think you're overestimating Shalke. I can honestly see Real going to Gelsenkirchen and putting 5 or 6 past them.
They really are an average side.
Atleti vs Milan will be an interesting tie. Fancy Atleti to go through but will be interesting to see which Milan turn up and how Atleti respond to the name of AC Milan.
Arsenal fans must be gutted.

I know we're tiresome at times Darren but is disembowelment not slightly overreacting?

It's a shame you got Bayern. I was hoping you'd get Madrid as you've not played them for ages.
Best hope Pep's poor away record in Europe continues under Bayern.
Yes we are Sherlock.

United typically getting the easiest side there right now. Djebbour, Mitroglou and Avraam Papadopoulos are really the only 3 players that you need to watch for. Keep them out of the game, 4-0 HW and 0-1 AW.
Milan need to beat Athletico at home by a couple of goals and not concede.
We generally always get a favourable draw in the second round.
Madrid last season and Milan in 05 was probably the last time we got one of the favourites in the second round.
All the group winners could end up in the quarters this season. I wonder when that last happened?
That always happens though, every year. Bar this year, you seem to get a relatively easy group as well. It's odd.
That's it though. Milan aren't all that good now and they have let their reputation slip. If you got Galatasaray, then I wouldn't have been saying this as much, as they are as tough as you could have got.
I wouldn't write anyone off just yet though. Arsenal (with their form and most of their performances) have just as good a chance as anyone to beat Munich. But I must agree, from first look, all group winners should be going through. But they are expected to if they finish top of the group I suppose.
It's because we are always top seeds and always top our group.
The CL has generally not been this competitive so with United being one of the stronger sides we always get a nice draw. Same can be said of Barca as well.
This season is a bit different, though, with Arsenal and City being runners up. It's going to be an exciting tournament.
Gala are nothing special. They have a couple of good players but aren't a very good team. I'd be confident of beating them even given our current form.
Plus Mancini is a clown in the CL.
I'll answer when I get back, going to play some Snooker.
good draw for madrid..v happy about that
i reckon atleti will beat Milan, and City will overcome Barca
Barca are a team in irreversible decline i think (even with the addition of Neymar)..City have a superb squad and sooner or later are gonna go v far in the CL
irreversible decline? Remember who else said something similar last year and is now jobless? Never get carried away by another teams poor form.

I think it's a bit early to write off Barca. They are still an incredible team when they want to be.
I can see that being a really high scoring tie, neither team can defend but are class going forward.
Aguerro coming next season, along with Hummels, Luiz and Ter Stegen

Am I the only one that thinks Hummels is massively overrated?
Nope, he isnt really all that tbh. Not a bad defender but not the defensive rock people make him out to be.
Wump
Loads of fans on our board want us to sign him. He's good but given the prices quoted he's not worth it and I don't even think he'd be a massive improvement on what we already have.
Ye, Hummels imo is worth 18mil euro maybe, not the 30-35mil what bvb want him for.
