For sure, the demise of those two clubs has been catastrophic for Serie A!! How can a league just watched while everyone around them is overtaking them?!

Nah Juve will get to a couple of finals and lose them only for Milan to be the first Italian winners since 2010.

Serie A has just become a feeder league for PSG. Which is a shame because Ligue 1 is shiiiiite.

I do feel that he is. He is saying all the right things and he is only making realistic pledges rather than b/s promises. I think he actually has a good long term plan for the club. All he needs is to surround himself with great football men who know the game well. Rumours are he could get Peter Kenyon to the club.

Forza, Napoli won't be a force in Europe until they find the next Aronica.

I like numerous clubs in Italy above the Milan clubs but their co-efficient is necessary to regain the four places.

Italy has bigger clubs than Germany in my opinion.

Problem is that Bayern, Dortmund and Shalke could effectively prop up the German league because they all get lots of points in a season.

Serie A has a long way to go to catch up.

historically the biggest clubs in italy are:

Juve, Inter, Milan, Roma, Napoli, Fiorentina, Torino, Lazio

am i right Forza ?

Italy have the biggest spread of big clubs in Europe, teams like Lazio, Parma are much bigger than their equivalents in the PL and La Liga

And Torino, and Verona

Yeah that's true Darren but the depth of Italian clubs is so much better sadly.

Napoli are a small club who had some good times with Diego Armando.

Yeah Serie A has bigger clubs but the German teams do better in Europe.

Hopefully an Italian team wins the Europa.

to be honest Mex, i think england has the largest amount of big clubs in europe of any nation

so many clubs in england have huge support and get big crowds ..plus they have history of winning the top flight way back when etc

I think England's got the most big clubs in lower leagues to be fair, but Italy has more in the top flight.

Who do we think is gonna win the CL and Europa next season then?
