Now I see your comments Wump.

I found it strange that you of all people would miss to have a word!
It's only just dawned on me, my club side are European champions and my national side are World (and European) champions. I think this is the ideal time to retire as a football fan.
Henrik wiping the floor with Wump.
Easy on him, he's got the flu.
I know what Wump is saying about Cazorla, though. He's a brilliantly talented player but since the second half of last season I think he's been pretty average for Arsenal overall with fleeting moments of magic.
It's why I'd rather have Mata or Silva in my team because they're more influential players than Cazorla. Though Cazorla in the Man City team could be a different kettle of fish because I don't think he suits playing out wide for Arsenal.
Cesc is a much better player.
Santi's a mondo, not a chui.

Exactly Darren, the three players have more or less the same attributes but the other two are much more influential in the team. Cazorla doesn't exactly play out wide does he? He is given so much freedom to come inside to link up with the other midfielders which brings another issue. He doesn't seem to be able to have any chemistry with his teammates. I remember last season when Arsenal fans were waiting for him to be fit and link up with Ozil. That was underwhelming to say the least.

For what it's worth, I don't think I have seen a player in my lifetime that can use both his feet as well as he can. That I will have to admit.
Yeah well he's not wide but from what I've seen he seems to come in from the left into the middle and it seems to be affecting him.
Correct me if I'm wrong, though. Because I remember him being very good when he started in the middle and had two players either side of him and Giroud up top, so he had more options.
But yeah basically he seems to be rather subdued the last 18 months. It's very similar to Kagawa with us. For two seasons now he's shown glimpses of his undoubted quality, and though he had more mitigating circumstances for his performances than Cazorla, it doesn't detract from the overall average performances he's shown in a United shirt - he's capable of far more.
Lots of United fans said we didn't need Mata because we have Kagawa but he's not in Mata's class.
Funnily enough of the Ozil/Cazorla link up I did mention that it might not work and got abuse from Arsenal fans. I think they both look better when it's one or the other as the attacking midfielder.
cant believe how optimist about england lawro is !
he says italy are not the team of old (they looked pretty good to me 2 years ago in the euros)..and expects england to win
am i missing something here....but england are really really average...what makes him think theyll beat italy
I posted all of Lawro's scores on the Serie A thread earlier- he has one game where he thinks there will be more than two goals.
He's such a hero.
He's just deluded about England and mugs every other team off.
The bit about Ivory Coast and Japan is brilliant.
he think serie a is as defensively tight as it was in the 80s
is he living in a time warp
I want to see Lawro' on Come Dine With Me.
I couldn't be facked doing a woman's job so you're getting toast and spaghetti hoops.
