i will do one if we get enough players..promise
What the hell is actually going on with Valencia? I was under the impression Lim was sorting out the debt.
Deulofeu loaned out to Sevilla. Not sure how that's a step up from Everton?
Lim hasn't actually bought them yet has he? I read he's up to some date to buy them in August. All he's doing is making them buy his players then probably disappearing.
They win trophies?
And he's better off being loaned out to a La Liga side than a Prem side.
Sevilla are my tip for 4th.
Oh right, I thought he had.
I dunno maybe I was reading it wrong. And Sevilla have lost Rakitic and Mbia? Is he back there?
Also on Barca Deulofeu goes Sanchez is sold but Pedro survives. Why?
Rakitic going there probably has something to do with them loaning him and Denis Suarez to Sevilla.
Pedro stays because he's better than both of them.
Denis Suarez was but deulofeu wasn't he was meant to be there. Enrique apparently blasted him in the press about not tracking back enough.
No I mean that Sevilla selling them Rakitic could give them good relations in terms of loans.
Otherwise he could have been loaned to somewhere else, like he was last season.
Oh. Have they bought anyone in to replace rakitic?
Aspas on loan?
I have no idea really. Don't know that much about the players they've signed and what the manager plans to do. Maybe Suarez is his replacement?
Aspas is proof of the superiority of the premier league over La Liga. Him and Efan Ekoku.
Darren, lemme just say the institutions in Spain are just as terrible as the ones we have here. People have been shafting Valencia for so many years that it had made it almost impossible for anyone with sense to want to buy them and I am not exaggerating this but the club was heading for bankrupcy! Credit to Lim for sticking it out. The fans of Valencia will never forget it.
What he has been doing all summer is buying players in a 3rd party kind of arrangement then loaning them to Valencia. That way he got to keep the players if things got so bad that he had to abandon the purchase.
It was no different to them signing Carroll, Downing and Charlie Adam, to be fair.
Liverpool make some hilarious signings. Who is your pick for their donkey signing this time around? I'm going with Lambert.
Wump, I see. So he's actually gone through with the purchase now?
I think the fact that mid-table teams in Spain usually do great in Europe proves La Liga's strength.
Lambert could be a donkey, but they'll likely get their money back on him even if he is you'd imagine. I have a feeling Lallana has been a bit overhyped and overpaid for.
Lovren won't be very good for them, because Lovren isn't very good.
Especially the way Liverpool defend.
Darren
Not yet. There are still some HUGE issues to be sorted out but the biggest one has been sorted so I guess Valencia will have a new owner by the end of the year, ie if nothing else pops up but after following the whole saga you can bet on that happening!
You have inspired an article Darren.
Henke I think Liverpool are so open because they're playing Gerrard that deep. I guess it's one of those things when the manager feels the positives of him playing deep outweigh the cons of always having a leaky defence.
Good shouts.
Wump, ok cheers. Hopefully it gets sorted sooner rather than later. La Liga really needs to get its house in order. As good as it is seeing all these top players come to the premier league it makes La Liga less of a spectacle as the smaller teams cannot hold onto their best players.
