They won't sell Willian for any less than £40M I'd imagine and you'd never be able to afford his wages. He'll be on like £200k a week or something.
They're only putting players up for sale that they haven't bought really so they can get them off the wage bill (even though it isn't needed) and they can sign better players.
Anzhi's owners are said to be leaving which will force them to sell most of their high-profile players (and manager) just to stay in business so there could be a few "bargains" to be had akin to Malaga in Spain.
They're selling players that they haven't bought? What are you on about?
They're selling as many players as possible to bring in some money and reduce the wage bill because the owner wants to slash their budget to comply with FFP

Apologies - misread story.
Nonetheless they seem quite desperate to comply (with FFP) so as you say will be offloading as many players as possible.
Not many about who will be able to afford salarys etc so will probably have to reduce transfer fee to offset.
Pearce, my comment was aimed at the fella above you. Don't know what he's on about.
Yeah there are plenty of opportunities to buy from them it seems. But who'll want an over 30 Etoo for the money he's on. No idea who else plays for them other than samba and willian. Samba only just turned his back on qpr and returned to the club he had just turned his back on a few months earlier, so go knows where he's off too.
Willian is an interesting shout though

I don't think you've grasped the situation. No way they will get close to £40m with the situation they are in.
He's not much of a goal scorer is he? 8 goals in all competitions is his best return to date.
For an attacking midfielder / number 10......I'd expect a hell of a lot more than that for £35-40m.
Just another massively over-rated Brazilian no doubt.

Not because of the FFP. They lost one of their sponsors because of political reasons.
Plus there have been player cliques developing and infighting within the squad. The mess is too big, they have had a disastrous start of the new season and they cannot keep paying the high wages because of the sponsorship isssues. Hence the clearout.
