Probably Jose trying to be smart, and keep his best formation and game plan close to his chest before the season starts. Doesn't want to show any vulnerabilities, or maybe wants to strategically display some vulnerability, to make it easy to counter against when the proper games come.

KDB actually did 2nd half but I think it was all over after the 1st half. The team looked very experimental and unbalanced to start with and in a different formation to how we have been playing.
I very much doubt our 1st team will look like that, come 18th August at 1600 hrs.
