Why do people think 50m is too much in this market baines is statistically the most creative player in the world and solid defensively easily worth 20m in this market. Felliani clause less is worth 30m+ he can play anywhere from DM TO ST and has a lot more skill than people give him credit for.

I think Baines seems rather likely anyway. There are rumours of Buttner going to Besiktas on loan today so that leaves us a left back short.

Baines will probably go for £16/17m. For a 28yr old left back with 2 years left on his current deal it's not a bad deal is it?

It would make him the joint second most expensive left back EVER just to put it into perspective.

As for this clause with Fellaini. It could all be total BS. Rumours of it ending end of July, August and bizarelly even mid August too.

One thing for sure is we've definitely got the right man in charge of United to target these two players in particular. He'll know about their contracts, he'll still speak with them I bet and I'm positive they both look up to Moyes still.

I can't see Baines moping around if a bid is turned down,he doesn't seem the type. I reckon he may feel a little cheesed off,but I can't see it affecting his form.

Baines is one of the best LBs in Europe, and he doesn't want a move, and we don't want/need to sell him. You think you'll get him for less than £20m? (if you get him).

Lets not forget the £30m offer rejected by United for rooney. rooney who is seen as a backup to RVP for next season!

Not sure what's going on but Felliani is a must considering the mess of bids they've made thus far, not too bothered about baines. Cracking player but Evra had a brilliant season last and really deserves another season to carry on. 2 midfielder.....in fact any decent midfielder is a priority!
