Why not get Van Persie in? With that team surely you only spent half your budget?

Fair enough Ron

Think defence looks weak though..

I haven't picked my team yet always wait till Wednesday before the season starts roughly. I'm thinking snodgrass might be a good cheap pick though or koren

Snodgrass seems decent, im always a bit wary picking from the lower sides though :/

I always go for a pick from the lower league teams as normally they have a good start at least. Two years ago I had holt, last year lambert. This year there aren't any great strikers from the promoted teams though, I would have picked Glenn Murray but he's out for ages

Dwight Gayle from Palace, moved from my local team Posh for over £6m, good player and only 5m on there i think.

Also at that price would expect him too start for Palace.

Not really bothered about the defence I was just content picking some cheap players that got around 80 points last season

Yeah thats the thing, deciding whether to go all out attack or be strong all over.

Cech, Gazzaniga
Toure, Ferdinand, Luiz, Zabaleta, Coleman
Schurlle, Coutinho, Snodgrass, Mirallas, Cabaye
Soldado, Lambert, Aspas

Pretty happy with them picks

None of the strikers seem worth getting based on performances from last season other than Van Persie and Suarez but Van Persie too overpriced and Suarez is banned. For me it was a case of deciding between some decent strikers that will probably get 30-40 between them or taking a risk on a striker that underperformed last season like Rooney or Aguero.

Decent Lee

For me Striking wise I went Soldado, Altidore and Bony.

All likely to be first choice and could find themselves up front alone. Other than Michu at Swansea, is there anyone other than Altidore and Soldado that will get many goals at Sunderland and Spurs?

However, all are knew to the league so is a bit of a risk.

Is there a JA mini league for this on the official premier league site?

you lot should just do what i do

cech
crap crap crap crap
bale mata schneiderlin hazard
rvp sturridge

points machine. if last season taught us anything it's that nobody keeps enough clean sheets to warrant spending much on defenders

posted on 9/8/13

From what i've noticed about JA606 no one has a clue about football

posted on 9/8/13

You need defenders from top 4, no one is gonna score or assist every week so important your defence is picking up clean sheet points imo.

Steven Fletcher is the goal machine for Sunderland and Altidore was poor last time he was in the Premier League albeit when he was a younger man

Surely you have to put RVP in your team.
