the championship is probably macheda's level if im honest.
he's a strange one, could have made it but for whatever reason never improved.
1 Goal since 2011 - That's a little worrying!
Sounds good to me. He will be hungry to prove himself. Could he be the man to allow a 4-4-2 alternative formation? I hope so.
Then sharpy????????????????
And a new Stadium Manager????????????????????
JR Admits that he was the one who went looking for investment after previous denials??????????????????
Anything else I wonder coming...Reserves just gone down 2 -1 with 30 mins left against Mansfield (OneCall owner's club - Radford) perhaps that is why it was at the Keepmoat and the rest at Cantley
Good Gesture for Armed Forces.
and now we are linked with another young striker who doesn't score goals regularly - apparently he played in the development squad game on Tuesday - Alex Nimely 22 year old from Man City-
So much gossip and absolutely no news from the club of course. As usual.
Looking back on those who joined this time last year we surely should be able to attract better quality players given our enhanced status and financial potential, yet I am not convinced that this crop of close season recruits are even as good.
Is it possible that none of this loan speculation is true and that we might be pursuing strikers that have actually struck recently and that might be wanted by other clubs? I take no comfort in our interest in potential loanees that have been more or less totally abandoned by their PL clubs and the only hope if they did come to us would be if they completely turned their careers around.
Apart from Duffy and Wellens no one had actually heard of most of the other summer recruits and we seem to be pinning our hopes on players who may have had some potential once and seem to lost their way. This is a big risk. Experience was supposedly the major factor, yet the one thing that almost all the unknown newcomers do not have is experience of actually playing competitively regularly.
