You'll regret for letting Downing...
=========================
I doubt to think that I might will
It's not rocket sconce, that's for sure!!
Yeah, we'll miss him big time.
All the those goals and assists will be hard to replace

He's gone full reéts again hasn't he?
All those unproven new signing might not perform as you expected like Coutinho..
what's it got to do with you Mafia
whatever will we do without his 2 goals and 2 assists a season
Big Sam,taking all our shít players.
He made Carroll look good last season... Something which 2(?) Liverpool managers failed to do.
Steward Downing has 84.6% successful passing rate for Liverpool. Thank you very much for offering such kind of player for less than £5mil..
Apparently you're paying around £8m Maf. Probably the reported 5m + addons?

Jay.
To be fair if the add ons are to do with number of goals/assists then it'll be £5m.

Stewart told to West Ham: "I'm very excited. It's a great opportunity for me being here, it's a great Club and I'm really excited to get going."
What did you expect him to say?
"can't believe I've come to this toilet?"
Well having watched him live on Saturday I can confirm I won;t be regretting LFC lettign downing go, while he is a game lad and comes across as a nice fella he is a fairly average player and is basically a winger who cannto beat a man.
He has a few good things about him like his ability to cut inside on his left and strike the ball well, but he onyl does this once in about 10 attempts.
Still he will do well enough at West Ham with Allardyce who likes a failry bog standard style of football based on getting it forward quick and feeding off the big fella or working it wide and crossign into the big fella.
I wish him and Andy all the best and hope they can take some points off the Everton's uniteds etc.

It was Liverpool who ruined him, he was class at Villa.

I think the point with both Carroll and Downing is that neither are bad players (who should improve a squad in their 2nd premiership campaign) and West Ham have broadly paid what they are worth.
The negativity they both receive from fans in down mainly to the bloated transfer fees Liverpool paid for them and the (over)expectations they then suffered under.

We seem to have done well out of Liverpool in the last few decades - Carroll, Cole, Downing, Julian D icks.
It helps to make up for the habitual beating we get at Anfield.
