but livepool havent got any time to buy an replacement now its to late, wenger should have slapped 50m in their faces in july and told Suarez to hand in a transfer request, but that hasnt happened, its to late now in my eyes.
===========================
This was the biggest flaw in the Suarez saga. Liverpool selling now would be suicide.
Can someone please tell Wilshere that you can't always finesse your way through opponents. Same goes for Diaby. These two are always going to need replacements as cover.
Now Arteta knows the secret to a long career. The ball always moves faster on its own.

Nice observation.
This was the biggest flaw in the Suarez saga. Liverpool selling now would be suicide.

Maybe they can offer WHU £30m to buy Carroll back?
"This was the biggest flaw in the Suarez saga. Liverpool selling now would be suicide."
Honestly, I am very confident we will sign both Suarez and Gustavo. But that is not the point, it is the way we have gone about it this Summer. Gustavo only signed because he has been made available by Bayern. Suarez will only be signed because we have no alternative to him and Wenger will be forced to caving in to Liverpool's demands. We will sign him but not on our terms, and that is going to eat Wenger up inside.

Eh? You do find the most random things to slate Wenger with.
Spin it anyway you want, but if pre-transfer window Arsenal fans had been offered Luiz Gustavo and Luis Suarez as signings we would of bitten the offering hand off - no pun intended
"Left out the rest of my comment HenrysCat? Not surprised, it would pain you so much to agree with it."
No it wouldn't, why on earth would you say that? It is a ridiculous amount of money to shove under the mattress, everythings so black and white with some fans. WOB this, AKB that, grow up.

I have never liked Suarez I think he would domiante headlines in the wrong way. I honestly don't see Suarez coming to Arsenal though on any terms.

Nothing random about what I am saying. Wenger does not PLAN ahead, he has a massive transfer budget and doesn't know what to do with it. He did not plan to go for Suarez or Gustavo. He was told to go for Suarez, he heard about Gustavo's availability. What part of that do you not understand? It really is very simple.
If we don't sign him on our terms, we won't sign him at all. I think we may make one final improved bid if Suarez brings his situation to Liverpool to breaking point, but we won't go higher than that. Wenger won't pay more than £50m, if he even offers that in his third bid.

United flashed the cash and got Berbatov on deadline day, leaving Tottenham to spend the whole evening trying to cash-in all their booty calls. It did not end well.
I agree about Suarez, that one is obvious, and why would you bid for a player if he wasn't 'available' - but to conclude that "Wenger does not PLAN ahead" is ridiculous and kinda kills your point.

Oh, I understand.
I understand that you'll turn any situation into a way to slate Arsene Wenger.
"He was told to go for Suarez"
What utter rubbish. Shall I phone Wenger and "tell" him to go for Messi?
Wenger is a PL manager with 20 years of experience. You are a fool if you think he doesn't have a plan in regards to signings.

JESUS CHRIST.
Never mind, close the article and end the discussion.
Wenger's plan all along was to use Higuain as a smokescreen, spend a month in negotiations with Madrid, agree terms with Higuain himself, only to pull out and bid 1 pound over a supposed clause that he doesn't know the full terms of.
To suggest otherwise is utter rubbish.
Batmanu
can u honeslty see Suarez joining us now?
WNM, yes I think we will sign him, only because Wenger has backed himself into a corner and has no other alternative.
How about someone who can score direct free kicks? We create so many with our passing game. Did we even score five last season?
WNM, if we don't, the knives will be out.
Ah, have we dropped all pretense now? Are you formerly recognised and Batmanu again (apart from actual screen name)?
Now, I know there are people on here that would let Wenger shít on their dinner and still smile while they proceed to eat it

In all honesty, we've been here before. Nothing at this stage would raise any emotion. Like him or not, attitudes towards the gaffer are pretty much set in stone already.
I think you're wrong to think we'll get Gustavo Batmanu. I do think Suarez will join ultimately though along with a couple of other names we might not see coming.
Bobby Pires, unlike previous situations:
1) Wenger has a year left on his contract.
2) We have never come out and boasted being a financial superpower.
There is no way Gazidis will offer Wenger a new contract after Wenger makes him look stupid, nor will the fans put him under any pressure to do so. Wenger's support is dwindling by the day and there will be very few, if any, who will try and defend him should the transfer window end the way many are expecting it, too.
AHB, we may or may not get him. Bayern are willing to sell and Gustavo has admitted to wanting to join so I expect it to happen unless something ridiculous happens.
