Wasn't stated as fact only rumour.

Also blogs are treated differently to newspapers in law.

Timmy it was stated as fact, it told you how much the ten ent would pay on an annual basis and how much they would get as a selling price, if it's not true which it would appear not to be the case it's slander, not opinion

"Course he will, the big mans an excellent player, everyone is willing him to score(apart from bluenose ) very unlucky again today, once he hits the net, it will all come"

You know me too well.

Was not. He stated it only as a rumour

" sources indicate that now charles green is back on the scene" is not stating it as fact.

Why didn't rangers shoot down the rumour, rather than go after the messenger?

Worrying times ahead for you lot.

You’ll remember in October last year I told you I was in receipt of a Heads of Terms for the sale and leaseback of Ibrox, Murray Park and the Albion Car Park. The internet has been full of chatter around this subject for the last week but I didn’t have an update on the subject until last night.

At the time I said the deal would not be signed until after the share issue, which took place in December. Charlie is back in town, and I hear the Sale and Leaseback-ball is in play.

According to the Heads’ the buyer will pay £7.285m for all three properties and, in addition, will provide a loan to the tenant of £6.9m at an interest rate of 15% p.a.

Rent will be reviewed every five years, on an upwards only basis, either at RPI or 2%, whichever is greater. RPI is currently 3.3%

Say Goodbye to Murray Park

The tenant “will take a lease for the stadium and the car park on a 20 year lease at an initial rent of £1.8, per annum". Murray Park is offski, gone, no longer available to Rangers International, or any of its successor clubs.

Interest on the loan works out at £985.5k per annum, so rent plus interest would be £2.835m p.a.

Top line figure for both sale and loan is £13.835m, however, the first three years rent (£5.4m) will be held back as no one is prepared to guarantee the rent, so actual cash into the business will be £8.435m.

Murray Park planning permission

If the new owner of the properties attains planning permission for residential properties at Murray Park within three years of the deal being signed, a provision releases the seller from having to repay the outstanding portion of the loan. If planning permission is achieved after three years, no element of the loan

This is not rumour, this is a statement of fact, nice try timmy

Pointy it has to stop, if everyone adopted that view no one would get done for slander, I want it to stop

My club are open and honest we publish our accounts every year.

I made this point earlier today. Rangers have not learnt their lesson from what has happened to them.

We nearly went bust and since then we have looked after our finances. Call it the biscuit mentality but at least we are still playing football.

Kinda defeats your argument laudrop. As I said it was all opinion not fact.

Nice try but you lose. Try reading and understanding something before responding.

So be ause we haven't published our accounts we are open to slander, complete garbage, it's hatred and bitterness that drives these people, nothing else, we were meant to die but we didn't and it sticks in their craw

He has a receipt , that's not a opinion it's a statement of fact, this particular obsessive should be getting a lawyers letter

That bit isn't slander that bit was a wee attempt at humour, I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about the receipt and the figures that he clearly states that is slanderous if untrue and if he had the receipt it is most likely theft and possibly fraud

Wrong. Its intrigue, everybody wants to know what went on at RFC including you. None of it makes sense. Aren't you intrigued what is going on?

Blogs are opinions and not the same as press publications.

I'm not intrigued, I know what had gone on!

Which part are you intrigued about?
