I can't see it happening unless Rooney puts in a transfer request...............or possibly if United get Fellaini their resolve mat soften..
Dumb not to hand it in after the Swansea game, he clearly isn't wanted at Man Utd. The only reason Man Utd are playing hardball is because they dont want to sell him to us.
Yes , i agree he will have to put the request in .
Hes not exactly looking like a happy bunny now is he !
Biggish do you think utd can force him to go abroad , or to another side ?
A move to AFC, SPURS or POOL wouldnt be be in his favour .
I think he wants to come, I think we want him but it looks like United do not want to let us have him and that is key, unless they change their minds then I can't see him coming.
king of the bridge why do you think he is not wanted at utd
This is vintage 606 stuff iffy!
Well he was clearly fit so why start him on the bench.
Also even the goals he set up he didnt celebrate them at all and the rest of the team pretended like he didnt exist.
JFDI, do you really think UTD will want such a distabilising influence / drama going on ?
Lets be honest here ,they want shot of him ,last chance saloon to get a real payday from him.
He knows it , they know it.
I feel it would be different if the genuinely wanted to keep him for there long term aims.
KOTB
He was clearly fit? He hasn't played at all in pre season due to injury. He was knackered after an hour against Scotland three days earlier so he was never going to be selected in the starting eleven on Saturday. What other manager in the PL selects a player in his starting eleven who hasn't featured at all in pre season due to injury? Would Mourinho have selected him considering he is nowhere near 100% fit yet? I seriously doubt it.
yeah, I'm definitely on one , too much tea & coffee ive been going since 6.00am.
Bring it on, come on you blues !
I cant understand if utd are keeping Rooney and have rvp why oh why are they interested in Samuel etoo i can only think that should they get etoo cheap enough he would be a stopgap fill in so they can sell Rooney for big Money too us, keep the profits till next year and sign the next big striker there.

Ifarka take it easy, we've got 37 more PL games to go!!!
Moyes holds all the cards here.
I keep hearing/reading 'unhappy player on their hands'
This is the season going in to a World Cup.
Moyes knows regardless, Rooney has to give his best this season at least!
United don't have to sell during this window or even this season.
They won't sell to Chelsea!
They want rid of Rooney there is no way they want to pay his wages and have him sulking around. They just dont want him to be at Chelsea.
" Mr C" its been along summer, just getting it of my system, !
ay ay flash, and how is the art of fence sitting going dude ?
"just getting it OUT of my system"
I want rid of him too, just not to city or chelsea, he can ask to play for anybody bar city and Chelsea and i will drive him there myself!
Sir BUBBLY , yes of course you want rid, but can you really hold such a big player to ransom ?
i can't see it personally !
Spurs kept Modric for another season despite him basically going on strike because Levy wouldn't sell him to Chelsea. As soon as the window passed and he realised he wouldn't be sold he knuckled down and got on with things and played well that season. Liverpool are doing the same with Suarez.
Players have to realise that there are consequences where they sign five year contracts when they receive massive pay rises...they benefit financially but give back a lot of the power to the club. It's happening with Bale at the moment as well and you can guarantee if it was City, United or Chelsea bidding £85m for him no way would he sell. He might end up selling to RM for a world record fee...that's a lot different to selling to a PL rival though.
I think we need to turn our attentions elsewhere.
I'm concern the club have not learned from the Modric/Robinho debacle.
attentions else where ? your right , but in this game of poker id bet we are keeping our cards close to our chest.
Do you really think they've not learned ?
I dont think they are idiots, agreed at times they have made mistakes, but i think they have a strategy and are working it !
Rooney is not Modric, different stature of personality + modric didnt have the nuts to hand in the request, something Rooney will have to do if he really wants the move!
Iffy this is the same group of people that had not learned from the Robinho debacle and took what they had not learned in to the Modric pursuit.
So idiots they may not be...................arrogant, quite possibly!!
Iffy lay off the espressos!!!
Dont get me wrong flash, i just think they have a plan and they are working it.
Robinho, modric ? look at each point in time our needs and requirements were different , you should pick your battles and i think the club is just that.
Robinho, didnt we dodge the bullet on that one ?
Modric , the player didnt have the nuts to hand in a request.
Rooney ? will he / does he ? we cant be privy to that , only paul stretford his agent will know that, but for my money if he doesnt hand the request in he is not for us.
