Good signing in Willian hopefully.

I will be so delighted if we get Lamela. But I'm a little confused as to why Roma will agree.

Have we just offered more than they can refuse? Or are they in money trouble. With them selling Osvaldo and Marquinhos already, seems odd... So excited for our team if it happens though

Ref Lamela, Sky Sports 'understands' that Spurs have offered 30m , but Roma want 35m, and the discussions have hit a stumbling block. This is on the Sky Transfer reports on their website. Come on Levy and Lewis, make it happen!

08.57 - Reports from Italy suggest that Roma are considering a move for Chelsea striker Demba Ba as they look to increase their attacking options this summer, although the former Newcastle forward is just one of several possible targets.
08.24 - We're getting reports from Italy that Tottenham are yet to reach an agreement with Roma over a possible deal for forward Erik Lamela, with the fee proving to be a stumbling block. The Serie A side are looking for 35million euros, with Spurs offering 30m, although discussions are set to continue in the coming days.

I would be shocked if we get both Lamela and Willian, I think one is a smokescreen to get the other personally

Ive supported Spurs since 87. Seen many glory nights, some amazing players but also plenty of mid table mediocrity and a relegation dogfight.

The whole set up at Spurs nowadays is magnificent.

We have an excellent chairman in Levy and a fantastic director of football in Baldini.

We have a bright young manager in AVB, with a coaching team behind him who seem to be doing wonders.

Tim Sherwood is playing his part too and seems to be integral to everything behind the scenes.

We also have a fantastic youth team set up, trouncing everyone at the moment, scoring plenty of goals and playing the spurs way, allied to the fact we have arguably Europe's finest training facility.

Our shiny new stadium is on the horizon and will surely be worth the wait.

Our first team squad is packed full of internationals, Lots of pace, physical size and youth.

We have had our finest transfer window to date in my opinion. Paulinho, Chadli, Soldado, Capoue and now Willian.

Ok, Our best player Gareth Bale is probably leaving, but if and when he does his sale has pretty much paid for these five players.

If we could also add the outstanding Lamela and Contraeu and possible offload Benny and Gomes we will have a squad even minus Bale that can get top three or four and win a cup.

I am one happy spurs fan right now, its been a long wait ......

AVB easy

This has been years and years of Levy's hard work in transfers, new stadium, training center, finances, sponsership deals, ect!

Once that new stadium is in place we will be a in a great position to move on

Winning a trophy
