The Super Cup despite it's name is not a major trophy, nice to win but not major.
The three points at Old Trafford are of far more importance to us in the grand scheme of things - if we can pull it off!
United win every time. The Super Cup has no bearing on anything.
I’d take three points at OT. I see no reason why we can’t get a result at both though.
No brainer take the points!
I like winning cups but,
1. A win at OT would be a massive boost for this squad and a dent to theirs.
2. Bayern will want to pound us into the ground for last years CL final.
I'm not, i'd genuinely rather win the super cup. I still think we'll win the league regardless of the result of the United game. And i wanted the super cup badly last season but we flopped it, so avenging it, winning it and beating Pep and Bayern in the process would be great
Agree with 1L 1L 1C, Super Cup is the one I haven't seen us lift since I started following Chelsea, until 2-3days ago I was unaware we had even won it... Anywho it's a trophy and if we win and good night and the SO bar
It's a glorified friendly.... They'll be no open top bus parade of the Super Cup.... The team wouldn't even celebrate it as much as Arsenal did when the won the 4th place cup at St James Park last year.
chelsea to lose both games.
To the Champions of England and then to the REAL champions of Europe.
good luck with that!!
Oscar, are you serious that you'd rather take a Mickey Mouse trophy over 3 pts at OT, if you could only have the one outcome!
With the way Moyes has strengthened the United squad you could be right StringerBell.....
We were already a strong team. you remember how we dispatched Chelsea last term.
so you lot had to do something, to try to catch up to our level.
its too early to say what the impact of chelsea's signings will be.
But we already have a team, ready to beat chelsea.
if we were to buy more it would be unfair.
I think Jose realises this, and thats why he wants Rooney, thinking it will derail UTD.
It wont.
Chelsea have a lot to prove... UTD don't.
You had the most successful domestic manager of all time motivating a far from classic United side.... Now it remains to be seen if Moyes can do likewise.

No actually I remember us playing you 5 times and not once did you deserve to win hence why in the end Chelsea won 3 of those 5 games and United won 1

Are you sure you're thinking of the right season?
We knocked you out thr FA Cup, League Cup, took 3 pts from Old Trafford and your win at The Bridge was one of the most undeserving I've ever seen. You struggled even against our NINE men.
Your team of last year must be one of the worst ever to win the PL. Had it not been for RVP, you'd have been no where near and you can seriously post a comment like that!
That really deserves a
Twists and round abouts in a PL season. No absolute need to win against United or even to get a draw.
Super Cup
Obers - it's like winning the Charity Shield!
Brums I really want to win it especially after last season's humiliation
United away thats a six pointer will increase our chances of winning the PL alot.
Cant see this one going Chelsea’s way.
Bayern are man for man just much better than you and Guardiola has came out on top of the majority of the tactical battles against Mourinho.
