Azzy, Thanks a bunch. People like Hero need putting in there place sometimes, glad you've done that. Your truly a great addition to this site.

V2 isn't really that great. They've got a couple of half decent members, that's it, finished. Fernando and Holymiky are my personal best members on there. But everything else about the site is horrifically appalling. Didn't think a National site could be so bad but that slumps below the bar.

I have to be honest, if it wasn't for one member of v2, I'd never have had an issue with the site. It navigates fine, and there are some terrific posters on there.

But after a year of putting up with that person's shenanigans, and being called s(c)um twice, I wasn't having it. Sadly calling people that is now deemed acceptable, so that's why I'm no longer frequenting the site.

What I then found was that you signed up and was subjected to some pretty disgusting bullying, for no reason - that was a new low for v2, and if I was ever to recommend a forum for talking sport, v2 is now the last place I'd recommend. You can't take the chance of signing up without being ridiculed for having a different opinion on something. Anything, actually. It's a real shame that the standards have slipped so quickly over there.

Anyway, I suspect my SG days are behind me. Thank God, I have always hated doing tactics

Wow, plenty of people weighing in here.

This whole episode has been a shambles. It's ended up in ja losing an entire league, v2 losing a rare participant in sports gaming, and no-one accepting blame for it. It's like an episode of Brookside

It's encouraged for EVERYONE to get involved and subside to bullying me in terms of Sports Gaming nowadays Azzy. It seems to be a tradition.

So you're suggesting I should take being called s(c)um on the chin? No-one else on v2 has ever been called that. There is no precedent for that level of abuse. The only relevant abuse I recall of a similar level was the Smarts thing, and that was ridiculously OTT. I ask you now, if some smart-alec ran his mouth at you in a bar all night, then called you s(c)um to your face - twice - would you stand there and take it on the chin? Or would you kick the beejeesus out of him?

The filtering on v2 didn't work, as that's where the abuse was taking place.

I'm sad to go as well, but I'd rather be on ja with no sports gaming than be subjected to Nick's abuse and gloating.
