I cant understand why police arent allowed to use tear gas, water cannons or rubber bullets.

they are clearly outnumbered and need something to help them even things out. Im sure if you hit one with a rubber bullet 10 will run away

The one that gets hit with the rubber bullet certainly won't.

Tear gas is the answer. You just can not riot if you are having trouble breathing and seeing.

I unfortunately have to make the journey down the m62 to Liverpool for work and its going to kick off big styley here tonight, already heard numerous reports about groups organising meeting times and targets ect.

Police need to come in with force and sort these gits out!

If it goes off everywhere, it could be a very, very long nasty night.

The police should arrest these people and charge them and protect the public and businesses. But they can't just charge in there and return with equally indiscriminate violence because that won't protect people, it will worsen the situation.

These people are behaving dispicably, but behacing in a similar manner (an eye for an eye) does not diffuse the situation.

Im not on about retribution...eye for an eye...Im on about stopping the violence in one night of sustained action by the police or military against the perpetrators.
