Don't think it will happen. Wouldn't mind him at OT though.
Here's a fesh Ozil rumor out of the oven
Manchester United are among the clubs who have been put on alert with Germany star Mesut Ozil set to be made available for £38million by Real Madrid....

If a decent offer came in Real would let him go and Ozil would leave, i'm pretty confident about that.
To us though? I dont see it personally. Brilliant player though he is, I dont think he is what we need at all.
I best change my name to the original Özil
If true, we HAVE to get him. Stick him beside Carrick in a 2 man midfield behind Kagawa, Nani, Rooney and RVP
£38m?! that seems like decent price for him in the current market
I would wager good money on Ozil leaving Real this summer but I have no idea where he'd go.
Possibly Arsenal if I had to put money on it. United would be a great destination for him but only if Rooney left.

Assuming Rooney stays and starts most games, how would we line up? One of the fan favourites would have to make way, most likely Kagawa
simo987.... Ozil could not play in a 2 man midfield, no way.
I can't see him going from Madrid to Arsenal if United are in for him
Forehand
I agree but I doubt we'd go in for him if we keep Rooney.
Woodward would start the bidding at £10m
Özil has always looked great playing in from the right, like Silva does at City. Him, Kagawa and RvP
I have resigned myself to getting nobody. Therefore if we get anyone it will be a nice surprise.
Probably the worst transfer window in yrs. watching the top clubs in the premier league and Europe strengthen where as so far we have stagnated
That's what I thought but that didn't stop us bidding for Fabregas though
We would bid 15m for him.
Woodward would bid £5m plus Bebe
I would send Woodward himself the other way
I wouldn't have thought Ozil could play in a 2. He's more of a AM, and although I rate him higher than Kagawa, I would rather let Kagawa have a run in the team.
Modric, would be my choice of Real players I think we should sign, apart from the obvious choice.
I'm also starting to think we won't sign anyone, so anyone we bring in I would be happy. Fellaini included
Ain't happened so rumour...and doesn't affect the idea of Rooney staying.
