Yeah, in theory the communist ideal is the perfect utopia. But as much as I'd love to see it, I don't think it can ever be achieved - Although you could argue that that's simply because I've been conditioned to believe so by the capitalist paradigm

Lubo that was my point.
It was doomed to failure as the Soviets etc. didn't take not of Marx's major point that communism must supersede a harmonious and democratic society...

To be fair, Russia in 1917 was relatively democratic compared to Western Europe... But it was in no way 'democratic' by our standards
