Great result for Evans
Especially seeing as Tomic's idiot of a Dad refused to let Tomic pratice with Evans in Miami, claiming that he wasn't good enough.
Karma!
Pol, I did see you request this last night
Wow - Evans, just shows what some hard work can do if you screw the nut. Good to see him earn some decent cash as well, £60k will mean a lot to him.
Unfortunately I don't see him going any further, Robredo will be to cut for him, but he will give it a good go. Plenty to be optimistic about for the future
Logie, I think Robredo might be a step too far as well, but Evans has shown he can live with the top players AND beat them.
More experience at this level, cash to ease worries and knocking on door of auto qualification for Slams will all help his chances of making top 50.
Really looking forward to Laura Robson today and Evans next match!
Andy is now number 3 billing
Ad nan, her wrist injury mitigates result somewhat, but I do agree, serving is still erratic and she needs to be more consistent.
She was seeded 30 yet didn't make last 32.
Come on Agnieszka Radwanska!

=====================
yes her wrist didnt help but i feel she should of taken the 2nd set. li na was on very good form today though
Agreed ad, serving needs to be more consistent is biggest issues for me.
yep when her serve is on it is really good, once she gets consistent with it then she can really push on. shes only 19 remember and has plenty of time.
Wish Andy would cut out the shouting and screaming.
He's up, completely in control, should keep his positive focus.
I agree Jonty, i've always wanted to reach out thru the tele and give him a slap
i seen him once live and sh at it to say anything
If he loses this third set then he'll be kicking himself, had a great chance to get an early bath after stupid US Open first round schedule
I think he's calm now Jonty. to be fair Mayer did play some lights out stuff
The scheduling though is scandalous towards the defending AND Wimbledon champion
The yanks think they're the greatest on the planet and show respect to no man
Fully expecting him to focus now but shows the damage it can do to his game when he loses it for a bit, even more so when playing top 4 players.
Good match so far though for quality of tennis from both men.
He doesn't flip that way against his direct comparisons though mate
he'd focussed personified when on the court with these guys
But he does, he loses focus here and there and against the top players that is a game lost and that is the difference for a set.
He's really improved that, but its still there.
Jonty can you name me one instance in the Wimbledon final he wasn't mentally focussed
This Argentinian is playing some great stuff here btw
Polb, not saying he does it every match, but he does it a lot.
Wimbledon was something special where he was completely in control, most matches aren't like that for him v top players and he loses focus.
