very tough for you lot this year, when marseille(weakest team in pot 2) were drawn 1st im sure alot of arsenal fans same as me thought another favorably draw coming up, but then you proceed to draw the toughest teams in pot 3 and 4

probably goal diff or head to head deciding 2nd

2 years ago we were predicted to flop out at the group stage, as Dortmund and Marseilles were too good for us. We came top, Dortmund bottom.
This after an alleged 'hardest tie possible' against the Italians Udinese, whom we dispatched by a relatively large margin.


I am confident we will go through.

The order of the fixtures might be helpful though. After Marseille away, we have Napoli and Dortmund at home first. If we can get 6 or 7 points from the first three games, with Marseille at home still to come then we should be able to get over the line. Well I think I'd much rather it were that way round than having the toughest away games first and having to play catch-up for the second half of the group anyway.
