Good player, just coming of age and maturing as a player. Big strong lad that can hold the ball up well. Can see Alf coming in next and being our first choice from two. Not the 20-25 goals a season man that Alf would be but should chip in with 15 or so. Think Madine will learn a lot from him too.
Is this your own personal O'Grady thread?
Was there a reason he wasn't in Rochdale's starting 11 on Saturday? Or are we reduced to signing players not deemed good enough for Rochdale?
I'd seen him described as a pacy striker/winger which sounded good. What I saw on Saturday looked more like a ponderous hulk of a centre-forward. Akpa-akpro or whatever his name is seemed to have plenty of pace about him though.
Does anyone know any more about O'Grady?
I thought he was on the bench because he wasn't 100% fit, thought I heard it on radio Sheffield. Should fit in well in the treatment room then!
Good signing. Let's welcome him to the club.
Good solid signing at league one level and young enough to hopefully develop for higher up. Definitely makes the team and squad stronger.
Maybe it was agreed he wouldn't sign for us until after Saturday so he wouldn't be playing against them!!
It was on Football Heaven that he had a fitness test before the game on Saturday and Rochdale decided not to risk him. Read in to that what you will.
Yeah he definitely had a fitness test on the pitch before the game and he was truggling. He is apparently recovering from a toe injury. Hope they dont risk him agaionst Blackpool. Great signing, well done GM.
He played on Saturday. Came off the bench and got booed lol.
Welcome to Wednesday!
