The SFA cocked up Rangers embargo in only making it to the 31st of August. Nobody obviously thought to consult a calendar or even make the embargo until the end of the window instead of date specific.
They couldn't then be seen to be extending it and have Rangers benefitting without looking stupid and somebody being mock outraged.
Therefore the SFA would rather punish every other club. Go figure.
With those administrators in charge our game will never improve.
Everybody knows the rules, can't blame the SFA.
The SFA extended it before when it fell on a weekend so why not this season?
why the problem with EPL synchronisity (SP)?
most deals to the SPL are outside EPL anyway.
We have had all summer to do our business.
Timmy thats not the point, what if we sell Forster and Izzy?Would you be happy going into this season without they 2 without being able to bring in any replacements?
BTG is spot on
The people running our game would rather cut off their nose to spite their face.
Tim,
its up to Celtic to keep the players they need, same as any other team.
( except Bale of course, theres always an exception)
Ad i know that but all i'm saying is it leaves us (and the other teams) in a difficult position, what if Benfica come in with a £10m bid for Forster on transfer deadline day,i would hope we would turn it down but i'm not sure we would. We would then have no chance of replacing him.The SFA are incompetent to say the very least.
If that happened the lawman would tell the authorities what needs to happen.................and it will be done
It's the other clubs I feel sorry for, they rely on the loan system so much but loan players only really become available on deadline day once English clubs know the shape of their squad and because of the downright incompetence of the SFA they lose out.

It will never change until we startlooking past club loyalties to point score on such matters. When they get something so badly wrong it's something which one side of the divide can usually WUM or point score about. Maybe if we took a step back and thought do you know what that just isn't right then maybe just maybe it could change.
Instead it's all get it right up you and using point scoring when they are incompetent.
