"runours that capoue has broken his leg"
Oh FFS!! That is so typical spurs ain't it some things never change when it comes to bad luck. Only we can get a new player and he breaks his leg within weeks.
How many of us can say that we are totally confident at present? Also Don how can you say come back fresh after just 5 matches in all, the players should still be fresh? We seem to have a similar problem to the last couple of seasons notably strikers ie two penalties in two matches and nothing today. I hope it cures itself.
no cutting edge, you don't seem to have that player who can play a killer pass
Maybe ericson can provide that and no goals from open play in 3 games
We will be a more balanced team this year not having to rely on a Bale wonder goal once AVB has had time to evaluate the strengths of the new players he will then I am sure field a team that is balanced - I would go for this team :-
Lloris
Walker Kaboul Chirches Vertonghen
Paulinho Dembele
Lennon Eriksen Lamela
Soldado.
prankster, this is what Eriksen will provide mate and Holtby aswell who i believe will be a very important player this season

We have good options available but would prefer to see this:
Lloris
Walker Vertonghen Kaboul Rose
Paulinho Sandro
Lamela Holtby Eriksen
Soldado
Think that would have great creativity and stability.
dawn in tottenham, what you on about mate? The same supporters were moaning and groaning about spurs last season at the start when we had some awful reuslts against Norwich and Wigan home. In the end we got a records points total and although we didn't come 4th we still had an excellent season. I hvae no reason to worry, our signings have been excellent and i can't wait to see Eriksen and Lamela properly in action.
Tut, tut.
Quick enough to come over to our board, yet we don't delete your comments.
Diddums.
Keep Rose out if it:
Lloris
Walker, Vertonghen, Kaboul, Vlad Chriches
Paulinho Sandro
Lamela Holtby Eriksen
Soldado
red 5, i talk football on your board muppet. You coming on wumming will just get deleted.
I see what you're saying Don but my post seems clear enough. Two penalty goals in three matches doesn't sit too well with me and at the moment I'm not too confident. I too am looking forward to our new signings gelling but to me it's still the front line which is not working. One conceded goal in three matches is excellent but at the other end well...............................
Yeh but your taking away what will probably be our most creative players in Lamela and Eriksen. They have not played yet (Lamlea 15 mins today) and Holtby another creative player hasn't played in the league. We will be fine once the players gel and come in mate
Think there are problems all over the pitch.
Rose at the bak, Dembele in the center, and no goals up front.
But, there are also solutions. We have the players.
Now AVB has got work to do.
get Vlad and Sandro on the itch.
get Paulinho playing like he does for Brazil.
And get Soldado with the ball at his feet.
Passing from the wings today was simply aweful.
Don, I posted earlier I thought that Lamela should have started before Townsend but AVB is still learning about his new squad and will take note. Bale burst on the scene with his hat trick against Inter and that's what we need somebody else to do.

Filtered, now f uck off red you silly c unt!!!!
Lamela looked so nervous today he was a negative impact.
Will take him a while to adjust, but will be top quality when he does.
you would look nervous if you were getting high balls behind you with those arsenal krappers waiting to give you a good kicking.
edin, not suprised mate. He was just thrown into the north london derby but he showed slight glimpses of quality and will no doubt be a superb signing
