Anyway I don't wish him well as I feel the transfer has left a particularly bitter taste. I thank him for last season's efforts.
I also don't wish him well. In all my time as a supporter I have never seen a player refuse to turn up for training. Berbatov and Modric at least showed an ounce of respect by coming in for training even if they refused to play.I am indifferent to where Bales career goes now.
He's been offered £300k/week. Maybe it's in Euros, I don't know.
But that's over 1 million per month, each and every month for the next 6 years.
You would too.
Exactly. He wanted to leave, it get that. At least show us the respect and turn upto training and give your all. Many things are said about Rooney but he's remained professional throughout his saga and I've heard no reports of him missing training or slacking off.
He gave us six years and the best hat trick ever seen in the CL. He was the hub of the Spurs wheel and any team losing a player of that calibre will miss him but will eventually get used to the loss and somebody else will step in. Arsenal aren't much worse off without RVP are they and will Utd be without Rooney? We've lost the main name associated with Spurs which will take a little time for us to get used to but there's no need for a grudge which will eat away at us. Time will tell whether he'll fit in at Real.
That's all very touching. But there are classier ways to behave when you want to move clubs
The best hat-trick ever seen in the CL?? It was a group game mate.
Watch Brazil's Ronaldo's hat-trick for Real against Man United at OT in a CL quarter-final. That was more impressive than Bale's in my opinion. It was in a far bigger match it was a QF second leg. The sheer quality of the goals were breathtaking.
Messi's against Arsenal was pretty good too.
Messi's 4-goal haul vs arsenal was also better

So desperate to get your muddy paws anywhere near the Champions League aren't you lot.
Just so you know, Lewandowski's 4 goals against your new favourite team Real Madrid was better
I think you're just jealous that a Spurs player did something that no player in your team has done You Can't Buy Class. The way he took the first two goals from near the half way line to score when we were 4-0 down and then the last to make it 4-3 for me makes it the best considering the circumstances.
We all knew this was coming, but now it has actually happened, I'm not sure how I feel. On friday when the 3 signings came flooding in I wanted to push Bale out the door and grab Real's Money, but now I'm sad to see him leave and scared what is going to happen to our season without him.
I suppose it doesn't help we lost to that lot over the road on the same day. I suspect if we won the game 1-0 then I would feel a lot calmer. Still, you have to admit Arsenal are still a very good outfit and its not like they hammered us, it was a very cagey affair and they were clinging on at the end.
Give our new boys some time and all will be good I suppose. Eriksen and Lamela will offer us much needed creativity and spark...
Disagree, Real Madrid are a far superior team to Inter and Lewandowski's four goals were incredible, such a well rounded hat+1. Bale was up against a full back lacking pace, a lot of Italian defenders and the Italian game in general is slower.
