David Hytner has emailed in with a bit more on Arsenal's pursuit of Mesut Ozil: "Arsenal are very confident about getting Ozil done and in good time before the deadline. Hearing the fee will be £46m. They will also take Emiliano Viviano as a back-up goalkeeper from Palermo. The club intend to bulk up the squad with a third signing later on, too."

Arsenal are understood to be closing on a deal for Real Madrid playmaker Mesut Ozil. He is believed to be undergoing a medical in Germany, with the Gunners looking to avoid any potentially costly delays.
42.4 million pounds for Ozil thats a lot! but he is only 24! WOuld be amazing steal :D
