Verm should be raring to go after international break so thats probably wenger's thinking in not gettin another cb.

Or maybe swap back up CB/GK for a reliable back up goals scorer. I think giroud is good, but if he's injured we haven't got a natural replacement. I'd like a reliable striker, someone whose a good finisher, as our other potential signings can create lots of chances. So Someone to back up/ compete with giroud wouldn't go A miss.

Lets see if we actually get Ozil first and whoever else.

Nowhere near good enough. Let's stop kidding ourselves, we don't have the squad depth of Chelsea, City and United.

Still need to sign a true DM, IMO. If we signed Lars Bender, Mesut Ozil, a Centre Back , a keeper and a Striker, then yes, we'd be strong contenders.

However, If for once we can get through the season without being horribly unlucky. with injuries (It seems like a perennial crisis at Arsenal season after season) then with a few signings we may stand a chance.

We really require someone to play in the role of anchor. Part of the reason why we conceded so much possession today to Tottenham, was because we didn't have a midfield player that would sweep up and loose balls. This meant that we had to sit a lot deeper than usual. It was a big problem last season as well, and led to us not achieving great results against those around us.

Squad depth is also an issue. The first XI, is a very good one. However, once injuries hit - such as a current situation, the squad is threadbare.

All good title winning teams need a solid keeper. You've not even bothered to include one. You could always remove one set of goalposts.
