"Why they leave it so late, I do not understand. But we have accepted the offer from Everton for James McCarthy."
Oh God. Someone tell Woodward the fecking window's closed

Understand Man Utd are making a move for Real Madrid left-back Fabio Coentrao on loan. No idea if it will come off #bbcfootball #mufc #rmfc
James Riach @James_Riach 5m
Hearing that Manchester United are close to agreeing loan deal for Fabio Coentrao. #mufc
Why the hell on loan? What the feck? If there's no option to buy at the end then we are essentially doing Madrid a favour.
Bizarre.
Fellaini is confirmed by the club
We have signed Fellainiflop by the way
27.5M THAT IS 4M MORE THAN HIS RELEASE CLAUSE!!!
Doesn't the loan window close a little later?

It reopens next week for emergency loans for football league sides
If we bought Fellaini and Coentrao for the season I would actually be well happy with our acquisitions this window...
Would wonder why we didn't activate Fellaini's clause about 2 months ago but in fairness Coentrao deal may have been waiting on the Bale deal...
Coentrao is good at DM too.
If Coentrao did happen with an option to buy, that would salvaged some dignity for the board.
So we paid £4m more than we needed to for Fellaini but wouldn't raise our bid by £5m for Herrera.
Good work Woodward.
Have we seriously signed Fellaini?!
So we wouldnt pay the extra for Herrera - but we paid an extra £4M for Afroman when we could have got him cheaper with his buy out clause. ARGGGGHHHHH
