Özil is a great player but can he genuinely play in all the positions where Arsenal have weaknesses?

I've actually watched your last 2 PL games.
Fulham were always going to struggle against you as they have no threat on the counter and Arsenal are always going to dominate possession.
Spurs were very disappointing as well. I thought they looked disjointed and are still bedding players in and adjusting to not relying on Bale.
I think Ozil is a world class player and has probably swung the race for 4th place back in your favour. Cazorla, Walcott, Giroud and him make up a very good front four. There is still a lack of squad depth, which will prevent you competing for the title in my opinion.
Why do we need a CB?

Because its generally one of Arsenal's weak areas, hence you had to play Sagna there when Koscielny was out.
He did a good job but most fans would recognise this as a weak area.
Fair enough, I think with pod ox and arteta returning later we have a good shout at the title if we're still in touch with the leaders come January
Almost every single non Arsenal fan in my office and in my team is showing me respect and envy of our brilliant signing

The two most important things for Arsenal in my opinion are Giroud's form and the fitness of your defenders. If Girous stops scoring while Podolski's out you could be in trouble. And if you lose one of Mert, Verm or Kos you are relying on the remaining 2 to play every game.
Yeah strike is a concern hence why we should have got Ba or someone like him to be a backup, we have bendtner but I'm sure he said he'd never play for us again last season so I'm not sure what the situation is there, he's never warmed himself to arsenal fans aswell. Sagna as a 4th choice cb has performed well so idm him covering there if need be.
Don't panic we do have quality youngsters coming through. Time will tell.
