Are you happy with your one big signing
===============================
One big signing? What about that goalie?
Our one big signing isn't poo or money down the drain, so yes i am very happy
ps, you haven't replaced Bale, you need 11 more signings and another £100m to do that
Was Flamini not a big enough signing?
I'm sure he would take great offence to that
To be completely honest, if they had bought Ozil 2 weeks ago, they would have been calling for more signings in the areas they need up until yesterday. Wasn't the case. So they are left feeling overjoyed. Fair play.
We could have had a chance at the title had we signed a good striker and centre-back, even if they were as back-up, because depth is crucial. I think we have as good a starting XI as Chelsea or United (doubtless their fans will argue otherwise) but don't possess the same depth as they do.
However, we have signed three other players to add depth as well as Özil, so the article isn't quite accurate.
We've scored 5 goals in 3 games, all from open play and kept 2 clean sheets, don't worry about our squad, worry about when your average £28M striker manages to score without a penalty.
Looking forward to spurs giving us 6pts this year
However, I did say that another creative midfielder was a priority for us and I'm glad as hell we've got someone with the potential to be the best player in the league.

Bite.
The problem for spurs is that you didn't need to sign 7 "decent" players with the Bale money.
The team would be far better off if you had invested that money in 3 genuinely good players instead. In fact I'm amazed Levi didn't suggest including Ozil as part of the transfer
Because Ozil would refuse to go there?
trig, like Ozil would agree to go there
I am not happy with what we have done this window.
HOWEVER, Ozil is a signal of intent and hopefully now that he has joined, other top signings will follow. Short term, we have not bough what was required to compete (a striker and RB still missing) but long term this will only be good for us.
And lets not forget, we have signed Mesut fúcking Ozil.
