Just worked it out. We've sold around 500k worth of Ozil shirts so far. Less that I expected but we only signed him yesterday tbf.

I fully expect us to generate at least half of that 40m back from shirt sales alone!

Is anyone else a little underwelmed by Ozil's quotes so far? He doesn't seem that excited to be here or am I being a little paranoid?

What are his quotes? Only saw his quotes from last night and I really liked what he said. About him realising after speaking to Arsene that this club actually values him and will treat him right. It was kind of like admitting he was wrong about not wanting to leave Madrid.

Tbf we haven't really had any chances to interview him or anything like that. I liked his quotes about Arsene and values etc, but I want him to say more nice things about the Arsenal

Don't remember the last time we had a player on our books with an umlaut in his name so there's no way I am passing up the opportunity.

Its seems from his quotes that Wenger has told him his plans and that is what made him join arsenal! He could have gone to PSG for more money but Wenger's plans were far more appealing to him.

Summed up perfectly imo. I think there will be more 'marquee players' in future, not on this level but in that mould.

I think this is Wenger's one final hurrah.

We're going for it man. I think if we'd made the Ozil signing a little earlier (we obviously couldn't cos of the Bale thing), we could've attracted another top player before the window.
