the problem is comolli is speaking out of his l'arsse.
1. he has no clue what we actually paid, only what some guy in the french media say. i do not know for sure if we paid 18mil sterling or euros or what.
2. in case he's forgotten when the guy is on a free he can go in janaury and do precontract with anyone. we moved to secure now. if we did not he would have gone to someone in the CL.
3. he's ruin his own rep so i doubt anyone really cares

Why is everyone giving him stick for making comments about overpaying for players? DC is widely acknowledged as an expert in that field.
SSN have had both Purslow and Commoli on their programme.
Both are absolute disasters and only provide comedy now.
