You forgot Liam Brady...he was class when I was a kid....
Cesc is not an Arsenal legend.
Liam Brady
Now there's a legend.
Plus Bob Wilson. Frank McClintock. Patrick Vieira.
The whole of the invinsibles starting 11 except cashley
Yep forgot Liam. Trouble was I was living in another country during his time so didn't as much of him. I still think Cesc was a legend for us. He gave us several good years. Yep, Vieira too. I knew there would be a few I'm miss.
Ian Wright,wright,wright............
you also forgot Ted Drake.....7 Goals v Villa....now thats Legend status.....Even if I never saw him play.....I agree McClintock and Viera, 2 power houses and won us plenty as captains.
Also you forgot Charley George and George Graham.
Graham was a player and Manager legend.....he won us stuff on the pitch as a manager and destroyed Spurs when he was their manager....now thats an ultimate Legend....
Charlie George ?
Ian Wright ?
Pat Jennings ?

and how about you namesake....now he was class....Him and Cole (do not even mention him in this list) where amazing on the left together......best left sided partnership we ever had
Not valid as Rocastle is not on the list
Rocky
So many legends, but my point is Cesc is not a legend. Please remove him.
Charlie was in my original list. If we're going back as far as Ted Drake might as well list Dennis Compton too.
Doh how could I forget Wrighty

You put in Bastin so why not Ted Drake ?
Ted Drake played for us in the 30's and so did Bastin....
cesc?
no legend
rocky,wrighty,smudger
Best side for Legends in each position IMO are
Bob Wilson
Sagna Adams O'Leary Samson
Overmars (I know he was RW but he was class with a Capital C) Vieira Brady Pires
Bergkamp
Henry
Reg Lewis was the best player Arsenal ever had.
Wenger is the biggest arsenal legend of all
none of you say Seamen was then?
Lehmann > Seaman
Lehmann is the greatest footballer.
Wow our legends sure have dried up in the past few years!
Canola, Ozil, Kos, Ramsey, Wilshere and Walcott are gonna be our new legends....
