Anelka was a master stroke for you guys and well done on saving Sessegnon from Sunderland.
Being in Europe will be hard for you guys as its alot harder to compete on more than one front unless your ready for it.

There's probably a simple explanation that eludes the poor old Baggie Man but......why isn't G Mac, Dozza classed as HG's if Mozza and Shane Long are HG's ?
Baggie Man.
"As of next season [that was 2010-11] clubs will be required to have a squad named of up to 25 players, of which no more than 17 can be over the age of 21 and not home grown," said Scudamore. "The definition of home grown is trained for three years under the age of 21 by somebody in the English and Welsh professional system."
G Mac was 'trained' in Northern Ireland (with Linfield) and Dozza in Scotland with Livingston.

Had to check whether KOTB was a wum or had just made a mistake.
Nah, King pops along a fair bit to the WBA a fair bit.

Richard Garlick commented further on the 25-man squad Albion submitted to the Premier League for the first half of the season. Garlick said: “The club has determined that running with a 22-man squad, augmented by the development squad, is the way forward.
“However, we have registered 25 due to mitigating circumstances.
“We are carrying one extra goalkeeper as we needed cover following Ben Foster’s injury.”

I presume the other two added to the 22 are Zoltan Gera, who was awarded a 12-month contract, and Markus Rosenberg or Nicolas Anelka. Anelka might well not have returned from the compassionate leave he was granted, and Rosenberg does still have a year left on his contract, but if all goes to plan with Anichebe, Sinclair and Sessegnon, I can't see him getting much game time. I would rather keep Shane Long than Rosenberg.
