Fact....prior to moving into a new stadium Arsenal had a great team and were league winners! They didn't need major surgery but through constant mis-management they messed this up and went from top to struggling for 4th place. Constant contract nonsense with their top players, wasting millions on wages for average players, failure to nurture top quality youth players despite the continuity of a manager since 1996.

A decent youth policy Arsenal wouldn't have needed to buy superstar players.....they should have shaped them! It's a panic buy purely because it was done on that last day when you were previously after top class strikers like Higuin and Suarez.
