Well for a start our goalkeeping situation.we don't have a top quality number one keeper,and please don't say he's young and will get better.

Title contention is beyond us. A marquee striker, a CB and good luck with injuries would have made that possible. It isn't.

I'd wait until few games before making any conclusion about our chances. See, Ozil is not just a WC player. I'm sure he will be our number 10 (not offence to Wilshere). Wenger will build the team around him, like he did with Cesc. That's like someone having a brand new heart. Need to see how it is gonna work out. It could change the team completely.

I don't think flamini played one good game for ac after his initial season

Flamini has had one adrenaline-fuelled decent cameo in a passionate derby. The guy has missed a lot of football in AC Milan. Could prove another Squillaci-type signing or a master stroke. But it seems too many are already convinced it's the latter.

There was a total lack of leadership during the Villa game. It was reassuring to see Mathieu organising the team when he came on for the Spurs game. Some of our players do tend to panic. Per, as the interim captain, could do well to take a leaf out of Mathieu's book.
