Our wage system is the stupidest. Remarkable how Spurs can keep their wages about 50m pounds less than ours and United are almost as low as us. All because of our egaliarian flat wage system that pays wastes of space like Diaby, Bendtner, Squillaci and even Fabianski over 50k a week. That's why Arsenal find it so hard to offload deadwood until their contract runs out. A system Wenger admitted to creating under the misguided notion it brings about squad unity. Wilshere in his teens was already on over 50k a week and his current contract is worth over 80k a week. Just ridiculous.

Liverpool should also be close to 140m a year. Their figures was based on a 10-month financial year rather than 12 months like the rest.

Arsenal won't get near to our turnover. But you don't need to have our turnover to pay competitive wages for top players.

All big clubs have deadwood players on top money.
At Arsenal we have often bought cheap and sold at a large profit,but there is the odd one or two that don't happen with,Arshavin being the biggest loss,Wengers player dealings before the arrival of Ozol were I believe in profit.

Well i know for a fact we have lost almost 30million from,the wage bill after all.the deadwood was sold.
