Brendan Rodgers has been forced to stop Andrew Wisdom going out on loan as he looks to keep defenders at the club

Its a blow but defence is now an area where we are strong. Wisdom and Kelly can fill there and with suarez due back soon the defence wont have anything to do anyway

Have to agree with GB.

With Kelly and Wisdom we've got it sorted.

wisdom is more than capable of filling in there.

1 thing stood out for me in that.

Brendan rodgers is set to reshape his defence and new signing mamadou sakho is set to start at left back.

I dont quite see why, with enrique fit and cissokho most likely back in time(?) would sakho be put there?

Could Kolo play RB? Then Sakho/Skrtel at CB?

Is agger injured? Did i miss something?

might well be out for a while but not for the 'knee ligament damage' which is reported in that article.

also, the mirror article says he wore a medical boots. why would he wear one of them for a knee injury haha

Still tho, this is a bad thing. 10 weeks??! I know we have adequate cover at RB but we're still loosing one of the best in his position in the league.

And I'd much rather Kelly filling in at right back then Wisdom

Ah if we don't know where to put Suarez when he comes back we'll put him in at right back.

Or we could always sign Rushie as emergency cover, he's always said he'd play right back if it meant playing in the top division.

I'm no great fan of Enrique, think he's decent but would certainly be a position I'd look to improve on in future transfer windows.

However, Enrique so far this season has been great. Probably played better than Johnson and Agger in my view.

I'd be surprised and disappointed if he were dropped for a CB, he just doesn't deserve to be. If his form drops then sure but not now.

It has to be a typo and they meant Sahko at right back

Sakho is never a full back and we'd lose plenty of his attributes playing him there.

Play three at the back with Henderson/Sterling on the right side.

Whats up with Kelly, or has he gone on loan?

I don't like seeing Wisdom at full back. I really was hoping for him to go out on loan as I think he needs the experience to smooth out some rough edges.
