OZIL IS A SOLID 7: THE TURKISH CARRICK

Madrid have rinsed the Goonz for £42.5m imo, Ozil is at best a £20m player.

Rubbish, Modric is not better than Özil. Ancelotti just wasn't fond of him it's as simple as that. Last season under Mourinho Modric was second to Öz every time and rightly so.

When is Spurs best hope of signing/developing a world class player again?

More chance of you being relegated in a few seasons.

RC is going on a mad one

Ozil is about the same level as Carrick. A solid £15m player. No thrills and not exactly the finished product.

This is truly great stuff, are you an aspiring comedian then?

Poor mans Ray Parlour

Or does RC just stand for 'Right ( unt'?

Carrick has a more impressive CV, to be honest.

More stamina (can play more than 2/3 of a game).

More trophies.

More European titles.

The list goes on really. Just doesn't get talked about in the same way because he wasn't part of that German side in 2010.

When Muller carried Ozil.

None of you would know who Ozil is it wasn't for that game in Bloomfontein.

So Real Madrid did just buy Ozil cos of one game v England.

D'Jeezus - absolutely.

And he never lived up to expectation. As such, he is now in the shadow of Modric and RM probably fell on the floor laughing when they received a bid of over £40m.

Mark my words - people will soon be talking about Ozil being the most expensive flop of the transfer window. Bookmark this.

I like the 'Muller carried him" line. Muller was Germanys 5th or 6th best player at best.

RC, your entire thread smacks of jealousy of the highest order

Unlike any of you, I have watched him play. Not just for Germany and in el classico (as well as youtube compilations).

You are talking a player who is a solid 7/10. Slightly better than Cabaye but a poor mans Kagawa.

The only thing I'd mark your words as would be "Thukklng R e t a r d e d".

Modric

You my friend are talking out of your RC.

Your fellow spurs fans are quite justifiably hoping you will stop embarrassing both yourself and them soon

Ozil will be loaned out to the SPL next summer

Also, you have to understand the genuinely world class players want to play for world class sides and win trophies. Players with the potential to be world class obviously have a different perspective. Ozil wont be developing much more, and will almost certainly find the Premiership harder than La Liga.

You have to then ask the question, why Arsenal?

Why were Bayern not interested? Even PSG weren't. City weren't. Even United didn't make a panic bid. Chelsea think he's so poor they spent a bomb on Willian instead.

A damning verdict on the likes of Lamela, Eriksen and Paulinho there, RC. All joined a Europa cup side that hasnt won their domestic league for over half a century.

posted on 8/9/13

Ozil is only 23, development left in him yet, not that he requires much more.

Why Arsenal? Well better players will only sign for teams playing in the Champions League which is why you've ended up wasting 110 odd million on a load of cack.
