What is Kenny Burns' problem

He's just singling out how pathetic Sam Rush is being. Good article.

If it is Forest's policy to reduce the allocation for all teams, fair enough. It's their call and he admits it's to gain an edge. But he can't then be upset if Derby reduce the away allocation for Forest but not for others who haven't reduced their away allocation as a policy or not. It's not petty it's just common sense. Why should Derby not be allowed a similar "edge"?

Kenny Burn's problem is that he was 5hite for Derby and he is bitter that not all fans in the world think he is great.

I'm assuming Burns had a ghost writer for his article.

Idiot. It's not as though Forest fill their ground with their own supporters by giving the away team less, such is their pathetic support.

Neither did they even sell their away allocation at PP last season ...

It will make the victories even sweeter

This the same Kenny Burns who said Forest had signed two 20-goals-a-season strikers in Sharp and Cox?

I think it's fair to say he knows fkall about anything and should be ignored/laughed at like the pathetic no-mark he is

What a no b. Was only a few weeks ago there were dogs laughing about the allocation we were going to get. Now were returning the favour all of a sudden they start and saying hurtful things like "petty park" . If he had half a brain he would have just said if that's what they want to do that's up to them. All this has done his show him up to be right mardy tawt. Not the sharpest.

I think the idea of trying to get an edge over opponents by restricting the amount of fans they have is pretty petty to be fair.

Granted 4000 Derby fans obviously outsung them and scared them last season, but seriously man the f up, it adds to the atmosphere, raises the stakes and it's the sporting event of the East Midlands FFS.

Shame both clubs can't come to an agreement and honour the greatest derby in the game.

Don't think we should retaliate though, we the fearless, they the feckless.

Scared of the Derby, they're scared of the Derby, scared of the Derby, they're scared of the Derby.

Wellies apparently Rush did ask if they would move the home support for this game and give us more tickets and was told flatly no, so how can you come to an agreement with that? Why then should we move 1500-2000 home fans to the SW upper for them when they are not willing to do the same? SR "Can we have more tickets and you move your home support for this game?" Dogs " no, snigger" SR "OK you'll only get the same amount then" Dogs "what? outrage. petty park, boo hoo"

Who the he'll cares what Burns has to say?

Still reckon we should just take the higher moral ground though, 4000 Forest fans crying at Pride Park would be far better than 2000.

or Option B we could burn 2000 seats in their home section and even things up....

Cough cough...

Home attendance average this season...

Forest - 23920
Derby - 22713

This is with the reduced away allocation.

Shows the fear of the Derby team is not just with the fans, but also with the club officials. What a state to get in.

Strett we don't do kids for a quid and burns is one of the worst players to play for Derby county

Forest have to try everything to try and beat us. I infact love the idea of only being allowed so few fans in. Get in there lads and get the job done.

We've only got 2000, we've got only 2000.

What a muppet.

He can't even understand when to use "less" and when to use "fewer"..........

So why anyone would expect the rest of it to make any sense I don't know.

Had an argument with Burns once on Century FM.

I think I was talking to Roger Davies and said "We've got this young lad called Tom Huddlestone, he's quality, if he doesn't get injured, he'll play for England..."

Burns (butting in) ".... He's a lump. He's not even half the player of Wes Morgan and I'll bet you Morgan plays for England 100 times more than Huddlestone, he's a lump.."

Birtles "....yeah... I have to agree with Burnsy..".

Birchenall ".. I'm not so sure Bannock (Burns), Huddlestone looks classy.."

Davies "..yeah, he's got magnificent technique.."

Burns "..no, the boy's a lump and will be in the fourth division in a couple of years.. Morgan is much better.."

Me "..have you seen him play KENNETH.."

to a collective sigh that I called him Kenneth....

Forest would have to factor in that they would have to pay for more police and stewards if they increased Derby's allocation, or any other away team's for that matter. Sure that is part of their thinking.

Burns is just trying to stoke the fires. Pretty unnecessary, I agree.

*By the way, Forest only do kids for a quid tickets for four selected home games a season.

Didn't he also cry about Kieron Freeman when he came as well. Had a bit of a rant and a couple of digs. He's like a big fat baby

"Given their track record to Give freebies to get their home fans to watch them"

That old chestnut !
It's getting a little bit boring now!
I have never been given a 'freebie' at Derby nor have my two little boys.
But I work in Nottingham and have been offered 'kids for free' or 'kids for £1' many times to visit the city ground.
Boring, poorly informed, childish comment kenny!

posted on 9/9/13

Your only kidding yourself Simon Lot's of Derby fans on here know the score with the free or special offer tickets.

posted on 9/9/13

Omar please show me how?
I'd be delighted to save some money.
And even if you do, how will that be different to Forest giving out tickets for free or for £1?
It's all a bit pathetic
Personally I think that If any ground is not going to be full then cheaper tickets should be given out to ensure it is full (be it Derby, Forest or Grantham Town).

Kenny Burns was banned from attending Forest games last season for moaning about how the club was run. He ended up going to Alfreton games and hated it when people just walked straight past him without saying anything to him. If he loves Nottingham so much how come he lives on the broadway in Darley Abbey? As soon as the scots get their independence the sooner we can deport idiots like him.
