Was thinking about this yesterday after watching Petrovs testimonial. It was due to happen at the end of the 2012/2013 season but seems to have been quietly forgotten. Saw a comment on Spurs Community which said it had been pushed back to 2013/2014.

Agree he needs to have one! I wonder who the opposition will be? Ajax? Real Madrid?
I would deffo be getting a ticket will be one of the best nights at the Lane!

Given that he's parked in a job with the club for the foreseeable, I expect the club will push the game and have it as the opener for the new stadium ...

Would be awesome if the first game in the new stadium was his testimonial match, and it would be even better if they named one of the stands after him as well.

it was delayed due to some sort of compensation payment relating to his injury.
Names thrown about were liverpool, leyton Orient or a london eleven side.
I spoke to ledders about this and he doesnt seem too bothered very quiet dignified man.
