I am surprised that you're even considering any team taking any points off us at all this season GB!
When can Suarez play again?
Sunderland away is the first "league" game suarez can play.....even stronger then!!!!!
Weve a good run of games up to the home Derby and then we've arsenal away in November if we can do as well as possible up to the Derby and then get a good result in that we could go into the arsenal game still top of the league.
We've a very tough Christmas but the good start we have got can help us build momentum and also make us more feared for opposition teams for far too long we have been a soft touch especially at home
when we have the title in the bag by march, we give a few of the younguns a run out and then i can see us only just breaking the 100 point barrier
Got better you should listen to the Anfield wrap podcast you'd love the optimism of some of the lads on it to be honest it should be listened to by every Liverpool fan it's really good for free on their website also some great written articles on it too
Sunderland and West Brom will be the most likely.
Chaos.,,.yeah, kinda my thoughts too

i can concur with this, good show, and i love the christmas quizzes theyve done.
Im going to guess the first game suarez is back. Can already hear the talk of "only just managed to keep him in the summer and theyre worse off with him"
I think we'll draw on Monday and our first loss will be away at Toon.
Beat the toon by 6 last time out and you think we are going to lose this time around.....after strengthening
14 points from the next 6 games would do me fine and help me to start believing again!
I have a niggling feeling for the worst against West Brom.
I have a niggling feeling for the worst against West Brom.

I went to the game last season and again this season
Don't want a repeat performance
Don't really care which game we drop points in first as long we win at least 4 of the next 6.
Seven wins out of nine would be a very tidy start indeed.

Seven wins from nine? 21 points? That's halfway to relegation safety!!!!
No Europe this season could be a real advantage for Liverpool.
Would you guys take a defeat against United in the league cup? Could help your efforts in the league having to play less matches.
I know you improved the depth of the squad but I still think it's lacking a little in quality and so playing less but keeping your best players playing more could prove to work out better for you.
Darren,.....nah, we have strength in depth now so should be able to challenge for top 4 and the cups, we could rest agger, kolo, coutinho, sturridge, aspas, Gerrard and still play:
................Mignolet...................
........Skrtel...........Sakho...........
Kelly..............................Enrique
..................Lucas......................
........Alberto.......Henderson....
Sterling......Suarez......Moses....
Looks ok to me..

Of course not. We know we will most likely lose, but to settle for a loss before kick-off is ridiculous, much rather take our (albeit slim) chances. Not being in Europe hurts, and though there are positives I don't think domestic cup games affect the schedule significantly. Sacrificing trophy chances in order to have a slightly better chance of finishing fourth isn't what Liverpool are about. I personally would rather finish 10th and win a cup, than finish fifth.
It's ok, but it's going to be tough getting top 4 with your first team so surely if you're playing far less games than Spurs and Arsenal it's a bigger advantage?
That said, the fringe players do need games to did fitness and form so the league cup is a good competition for that.
Not being in Europe makes cup runs more important imo.
Idio, fair enough. I only ask because if you do go far in the cups it will effect your league campaign.
I know what you mean, though. I guess it's a matter of perspective.
Personally I wouldn't be too bothered if we went out of the league cup early as it's likely to improve our chances of the title. Biggest issue is losing at home to you guys which isn't something I'd like to see.
