Training looks boring at Madrid
Ozil got the same from Ramsey, Ramsey hates him
Reckon this is Ronaldo letting Bale know who's in charge?
And Benzema (I think) looks like he was giving Ronaldo stick for diving in and getting skinned up
Benzema signed for Arsenal didn't he?
Oh wait
Ronaldo won't let bale shine. He's the biggest super star there and bale in comparison is a nobody who's beaten his price tag.
Why the doh smiley thuds?
It's a possibility Ronaldo is planning to destroy him.
Maybe, did you see Bale nutmegged him at the end
Am looking forward to the Madrid game this weekend
Yes that's only going to get Ronaldo and his pals even more fired up.
I do feel a bit sorry for bale. No one did hi 5 or anything after that nut meg. Thought Modric was his pal from spurs days...bale looks like a lonely figure at the moment.
Hope he has a good debut.
Agree 50, he's either gonna be a hit with the players or an outcast, have you read Bellamys book?
He gives you a great insight into changing rooms and players reacting to others that come in, really interesting

How young players and the older experienced players in the team make them feel unwelcomed, because they feel threatened, especially players that come in on higher wages and are young, there's a schoolground mentality where they're outcasted on occasions
English won't be the first language, he's gone from being top dog to just another high profile player with a huge pressure, hope he does well
Ah right I see. Bet it's different though when say some one like Özil joined arsenal or something. But in Madrid case I can see why players won't welcome to him initially.
Thudd, that's the kind of thing I'm worried about Lamela. He is an exceptional talent but Dosent speak a word of English at the moment and comes as a young guy but is our record transfer aswell. Against Arsenal I noticed Defoe and Walker having a go at him for something and just hope he gets a good welcoming by the players.
Don
Hope he settles, as a young man moving to a new country speaking no word of English, it must be quite daunting
I think it's great...and necessary.
Ronaldo is top dog at Real, feels threatened and will test out the young pretender...this will test Bales mental strength, will he shy away or will he rise to the challenge and really prove himself. Perhaps if the latter then he will earn the respect of the top dog.....
or maybe Ronaldo really was pi$$ed off that Bale turned up to work in more expensive jeans than he did
Thudd, I think he will mate. Don't forget he moved from homeland Argentina and settled brilliantly in Italy at such a young age. He will hopefully pick up with the language and Argentines are Spanish speaking so atleast we have Soldado to welcome him.
I'm sure the 60k in his bank every week and the top class yatty in London make him feel better

I reckon he'll be alright. He has bobby to speak Spanish with. And doesn't AVB supposedly speak about 900 languages? I assume as he moved to Roma under not dissimilar circumstances he'll be alright
More worried about fans rinsing hm for 90 mins for not being Messi
App, us spurs fans will be right behind Lamela mate so he will feel more than welcome by us.
