It can't be Vermealen. He is no way near match fit.

This combo was first tried in a match against Sunderland last season and Bacary was a beast. I think we won 1-0 after being under intense pressure in the last 15 minutes.

Sagna was great but Jenkinson got sent off.... He was a bit rusty tbf

But this isn't great, we'll need Giroud to do a lot of work again in defending set pieces as Sagna and Kos won't exactly dwarf the other players like Mert does. Fingers crossed we'll be alright though.

It's not the worst news in the world, sagna can easily replace mertesacker, the only worry is who will play on the left/behind the striker

I think Ozil will play anyway, be subbed off if all goes well.

Ffs... I really hope we win. Just imagine all the media and fans dissing us and laughing at is if we lose, especially after arsenal fans standing 10 feet tall after the signing of one player who is Ozil off course.

I hope the players we have for tomorrow win and then or international tiredness and illness goes away for the champions league match.

Hope Ozil is not to bad. When a player plays after being ill they never seem quite on it, and usually get subbed early. In which I case you'd have opposition fans celebrating the fact the he's not fit enough for the prem after all!

He'll probably come off the bench, like Sagna against Tottenham. Provided his illness doesn't get worse, of course.
