It's a funny old world...Man Utd drop 5 pts to Chelsea and Liverpool and they are 4/1 to win the PL.
Man City drop 5 pts to Cardiff and Stoke, and they are 3/1!
Form really means nothing when it comes to the derby, to be honest.
I don't think a point at stoke considering we had Garcia in defence was that bad a result though!
Man United have won the last 5 out of 7 Premier Leagues and were 3rd favourites to win it this season. Betting logic!
City really should have minimum 10 pts from their opening 4 games, if not the full set of 12. Very poor start to the season by them.
Our first 3 fixtures were a lot lot tougher than theirs. And even Stoke away is not the toughest of games. We've got a pretty good record at the Britannia.
Form means nothing for the derby though. It will once again be too tight to call. I just hope Moyes picks the right team and it doesn't include Giggs or Young.
If key players like De Gea, Carrick and RVP stay fit then we have every chance at winning the title, would really like to see us pick up some form soon though.

Why do you think Giggs was rested? <rum>
* - I might need rum though if he does play
Let's be frank neither side have been convincing. It'll be cagey next week.
Form means squat in a derby.
There is a reason why we rarely have an easy game against the Scouse despite their poor showings against other teams in seasons past.
We've got Leverkusen home first don't forget.
City have an away game and 1 day less rest as well not that I think it will make all that difference by sunday though.
Team for City I'd like to see:
------------------------------RVP
Welbeck----------------Rooney----------------Nani
--------------------Fellaini------Carrick
Evra---------------Rio-----------Vidic------------Rafael
-----------------------------DDG
You could make a case for Kagawa ahead of Welbeck but he simply hasn't played anywhere near enough football to be starting his first game in the derby away from home. Good option to have on bench tho for that game.
I'm expecting Moyes to still opt for 2 out of Giggs, Young and Valencia though. Hopefully he won't though.
Giggs will start against City. Where do you think he was today? Giggs will start.
Giggs will play in Europe I reckon.
Welbeck's pace and link up play will be a good outlet for us against City.
If Giggs starts against Leverkusen i'll join the #MoyesOut brigade.
Leverkusen were terrific today and they are certainly no push overs. Its going to be very very close game unlike what many are predicting.
I don't think City spend very well this summer, the players they have brought in are good squad players but the sums are astronomic for what they've brought.
I don't really want Giggs Starting either of our next two games either.
However if he has to start one of them which he most likely will, I'd much rather it be the home game in a group stage in a competition we have very little chance of winning this year anyway.
City away is a MUCH MUCH MUCH more important game for us. PL has to take priority.
I don't want him to start in the week I've paid to go and watch

We have saved a shed load with the players we have bought this summer busby, both in amortisation and wage bill. I agree though that they are good squad players rather than superstars, they had to be to be honest.
I think 3 of City's 4 big signings will end up being good signings for them.
Navas, Negredo and Jovetic are all good signings for me.
Fernandinho is the odd one. The price they paid for him at his age and ability seems rather obscene.
Not sure about jovetic myself yet Stretford, don't really know much about him. Navas and Negredo I like, fernandinho I think will be ok.
zaha should start the ucl game if he's in the squad....?
The way the young Belgium kid did, I would start him against Bayer. United have some player there, a mold if kaka about him!
