A fair rant. I'm not hugely impressed with Drinkwater's attitude.
If a small minority of fans have upset him fine, but to then offend the 18 thousand loyal fans with his lack of respect, well that's just going to make him an enemy of all the fans.
Lets hope Nigel gives him the kick up the backside he needs.
Great win an good solid home performance...
I don't care Drinkwater was boss today. He can be as Mardy as he wants but the fans where singing his name.
I think some of the fans who gave him so much stick should man up if he's not running up to them to milk there applause.
I'm just pleased his is all we have to moan about!
After all, NP is really showing his excellent man management skills with the likes of Vardy and Knockaert, Drinkwater is the last of the 3 musketeers and his attitude must be right in the Club or he'd be gone with the other pair!
It is strange. The criticism must have upset him somewhat and I agree that it's disappointing and doesn't bode too well for the future. That said, I thought he was Man of the Match today.
I think our defense looked very good. Big Wes and young Liam were great.
I didn't notice this Timber. He played well tho in James absence and that's the main thing.
I was at Charlton ' and I wasn't aware of anything going on, and I agree with Dunge, He was man of the match today.
somebody else who deserves a mention inDean Hammond, Did anyone notice that his first touch was a header which broke up a Wigan attack and set up the move for the decisive penalty.
You are right that was a class ball.
Drinkwater gets the experts complaining that he goes backwards a lot. But dont they think he has already looked up, assessed there nothing on and move the ball back to allow players to get in better positions?
Are fans want instant forgiveness from the players for the instant stick the highly knowledgeable amongst them give out.
