I put a thread up about it before. I ordered through Amazon ages ago and wasn't expecting it until Tuesday but it turned up Friday morning.

Pretty sure rockstar made retail outlets agree that they cannot release the game before release date. But didn't work out like that did it.

I've already seen the first 22 mins of gameplay. The bank heist and the stealing of cars by franklin.

But is that legit missions, Diggler?

No, I promised I wouldn't. I don't want to spoil it.

I will say that yes 50P that's how the game starts out. It's actually about 30mins including cutscenes and the credits rolling.

Shows you how the multiple characters can be switched between mid-mission.

Is it the same as all GTA games where the first few missions are to learn the buttons etc?

Due to real-life (kids, wife, etc) I'm progressing through it pretty slowly but I'm really enjoying it so far. Some of the missions set-pieces are awesome and there is an increasing amount of humour.

The graphics are very good in general but it has extreme moments (close up vines on a wall look PS2 standard but the water effects are incredible).

I'm definitely enjoying it more than when I first played through GTA 4.

Ah cool cool. Can't wait to drive that R8 then. Bank heist looks epic.

San Andreas > GTA 4

The button learning and new features are done in the opening bank-heist sequence and occasionally in missions later when something new pops up.

So, yes.

The music is very good too. I actually just let it play now as opposed to previous games where I always had a favourite station.

Bank heist is very quick 50P, not much too it.

Diva, playing as Franklin is very like SA again

Collision damage can be frustrating sometimes too with characters dying from bumping into walls (hence ending the mission).

And I still SUCK at racing (although this hasn't changed from previous games).
