There will be more experienced players as well, if they are fit. The likes of Ox, Rosicky maybe Podolski.

Zelalem's injured. As is Sanogo.

Frimpong I doubt will play.

Stop putting Frimpong in football lineups

He's not a footballer.

Why don't you guys want to take the league cup seriously? We're playing West Brom, not a Conference team.

==========
Play the reserves and we go to the semi finals, play a strong team and we lose to Bradford.

I don't mean play the first team, we should rest the injury concerns definitely and maybe try something like this, but Akpom, Ryo and Serge?!

Viviano

Jenkinson Sagna Vermaelen Monreal
Flamini Arteta
Wilshere
Walcott Giroud Gnabry

Something like that. Maybe Gibbs will play LW as we are short there.

You can play one of Akpom, Ryo and Serge but you can't have three of those in the front four, that's very weak.

I would not even think of playing giroud or walcott in the cups unless we get into the later stages

So Giroud is expected to play 60 games this season? We have injuries galore, no point pushing the first team players available to the limit.
Ryo has loads of top flight experience anyway.

Sanogo is expected to be back on that day. He should be given a go if he's fit.

Chuba or Sanogo (if alive) should start.

Team that beat WBA last time we met them in the League Cup...

53 Szczesny
06 Senderos
18 Silvestre
28 Gibbs
30 Traore (Barazite 69)
42 Gilbert
16 Ramsey
19 Wilshere
35 Coquelin (Randall 58)
51 Sunu (Vela 58)
54 Watt

(September 2009)

Put Giroud in the squad, though. He is MILES ahead of any of our other strikers, unless you count Podolski as one.

Team that lost to Bradford...

01 Szczesny
03 Sagna
04 Mertesacker
05 Vermaelen
28 Gibbs
10 Wilshere
16 Ramsey (Rosicky - 69' )
19 Cazorla
22 Coquelin (Chamakh - 60' )
09 Podolski (Oxlade-Chamberlain - 69' )
27 Gervinho

and people still want us to play a "strong" team?

What an utterly dreadful team!

A winning team though.

Surprised WBA weren't shut down after losing to that.

Why did Chuba Akpom come on instead of Sanogo yesterday?

Sanogo is injured.

Sanogo was injured - That's the official line anyway. Rumour has it he was on a 3 night ketamine bender which only ended at 9am on saturday.

nvm, injured

I imagine he would be a little horse after all that dot

He couldn't be expected to play in the k-hole behind the striker.

Stick B52 in the cup - he has to play a game some time in case he's needed.
