If it offends any jewish person we should kick it out, so i guess i've go to vote 1.
No other clubs can use such offensive language without punishment, so it should go. It may have started with good intentions but rivals fans no longer use it and thus all clubs should be treated as equal. Kick it out.
You know my feelings Thudd.
One star from me.
Vote 2 all the way (and this is coming from a guy with jewish background) Y id army!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you hear the West Ham fans last season?

We know why it's said, but not everyone is automatically cool with it. It's similar to black people (like myself) using the N-word; some use it as a symbol of who they are and they're proud, others simply find it disgusting and would hate to be greeted with "how's it going my N.....?", so therefore it has to go
Do you think Jewish people rounded up in the 1930's liked being called Y-ids by German soldiers?
I doubt they did
Lion-el, but in my opinion this is worse in a way.
You mentioned about black people using the N word, but, for the most part...we're not Jewish. So it's not even like we're using a word about ourselves.
Lion, ok if that is the case then why is rap/hip hop music not banned? or atleast ban the use of that word? The N word is in films, music and everyday life. Surely this word should be banned from music then?

Very good point.
I disagree that it has to go for the reason of it offending a few people. The voting should be upheld whatever the result, and I don't really care either way tbh
I know I won't use it anymore. Just don't feel comfortable seeing as I'm not Jewish.

There are edited and explicit versions of just about every single rap single/album, so the choice is there to be made. I can't imagine the US government turning round to snoop dogg etc and fining them
Clubs getting its name dragged through the mud. I'd rather they out law it and move on.
1 - I don't see any offence in it, however its an issue that is going to keep cropping up over and over and in the end will just be a distraction that the club don't need
Super
That's how I'm seeing it. The club have finally invested on the pitch. New stadium on that way, training ground. We're heading in the right direction.

I don't tend to use it much anymore but this is more on principle and giving up something I now feel I have a right to use. It is no longer about being Jewish but now about being a Spurs fan. Nobody differentiated between us all when the abuse was being dished out.
Lol what's your problem rap?
